This dual-channel compressor, limiter, and expander was created in the late 1980s and became part of a wide range of studios. It has an inbuilt sidechain EQ that makes it stand out from the competition. You can therefore, for a specific frequency range, restrict its compression. Use the sidechain as a de-esser and monitor it while sweeping to get an overview of where the sibilance appears.
