MARELD Fuzz #1 is a Germanium Fuzz Face circuit handcrafted and hand-painted at the kitchen table in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.
We use N.O.S Germanium transistors, capacitors, and carbon comp/film resistors, ensuring an unmistakable 60s fuzz sound.
Experience true tonal purity with our true bypass pedal, where the circuit remains inactive when the effect is turned off.
To maximize battery life, always disconnect the instrument jack when not in use.
The standard version does not include a 9V DC power supply socket as we believe the pedal truly shines when powered by batteries and preferably zinc carbon type.
Each unit comes with a 9V zinc carbon battery (included).

MARELD's recommendation: 
For the ultimate experience, pair our Germanium fuzz pedal with a tube amp played at higher 
volumes, inducing that deligh_ul breakup. Alternatively, place an overdrive pedal AFTER the fuzz to 
recreate this effect. Engage the pedal, turn the gain clockwise to the maximum (or near maximum), 
and finely adjust the amount of fuzz by rolling back your instrument's volume control. This ingenious 
technique allows you to transition seamlessly from a clean sound to a fuzzy tone simply by 
manipulating your guitar's volume. Experience the satisfying cleanup as you lower the guitar's 
volume. Then, dive into your own experimentation, disregarding everything we just mentioned.

• IMPORTANT! While compatible with a 9V DC Boss-style center-negative power supply, our pedal 
necessitates ISOLATED power when connected to other pedals. Failure to provide isolated power can 
lead to damage to your power supply. If your power supply lacks isolated outputs, we strongly advise 
using a separate power supply dedicated to this pedal.
